OUR FOUNDER AND CEO
Sumeet Chabria
Sumeet Chabria, Founder and CEO of ThoughtLinks, leads an AI strategy firm dedicated to helping global banks and financial services enterprises adopt AI responsibly and at scale. He advises C-suite and board executives on AI strategy, focusing on growth, productivity, risks, cyber resilience, future work dynamics, and global talent.
In addition to ThoughtLinks, Sumeet serves as a Senior Advisor at Genesis Global, where he guides the adoption of the Genesis Application Platform across financial markets, fostering innovation and strategic value for clients. Sumeet is also a Strategic Advisor in Accenture’s Luminary program, where he collaborates with Accenture’s clients to co-innovate solutions and shape emerging technology trends in global banking and financial services.
At Carnegie Mellon University, Sumeet Chabria is a faculty member in the Chief Information and Digital Officer Programs at Heinz College, contributing to executive education in AI, digital transformation, and technology leadership.
He is a Board Member at the Liberty Science Center (LSC), overseeing the development of "Science City of the Future," a $450 million innovation hub focused on healthcare and planetary care.
Previously, Sumeet served as Global COO for technology and operations at Bank of America, a 90,000-person organization across 30 countries, while managing teams of over 50,000 people. He served as Global CIO of Banking and Markets at HSBC.
He led HSBC to win the Euromoney Technology Award and was recognized by Business Insider as one of the 100 People Transforming Business.
Sumeet holds advanced degrees in management and technology and has been passionate about AI since his master's thesis on expert systems.
